How you can use the sections

You can browse three sections:

• APPS 2025 Retrospective gathers dated retrospectives on the 25th Australasian Plant Pathology Society conference in Sydney in May 2025.
• Plant Diseases in Crops and Nature covers pathogens, hosts and symptoms in farm and natural systems.
• Biosecurity Collections and Diagnostics covers surveillance methods, laboratory methods, collection practice and management options.

The Australasian Plant Pathology Society is described in the third person in these articles. Every other organisation is also described in the third person. The site does not organise events. It never speaks as the Society.

How the articles are written

The Field to Future editorial team edits the site. The team writes each article using public sources. You see the sources named in each article. You can check those cited publications if you need detail. When information is missing or uncertain, the article makes this clear. You will not find advice for your crop or your site.
